BEEXIE · OUR POLICIES

Terms of use

The terms for creating, connecting, doing business and showing appreciation on Beexie.

Updated and effective 23 October 2026 Version 2026-10-23

A place to create, connect and do business. These terms explain your rights and responsibilities, how gifting and paid features work, and what you can expect from Beexie. Please read them before using the service.

01

Your agreement with Beexie

Beexie is a business social network owned and operated by Beexie Interactive Communications ("Beexie", "we", "us"). These terms apply to our website, apps and related services. By creating an account or using Beexie, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind it.

Our Community Guidelines and Intellectual Property Policy form part of these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Feature-specific terms and the price and conditions shown before a purchase also apply to that feature; mandatory law always takes priority.

02

Age and eligibility

You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under 18, use Beexie with your parent or legal guardian's permission and involve them before making a purchase. A parent or guardian must provide consent where the law requires it.

  • Going live or joining a live as a guest requires you to be at least 16.
  • Cash tips, transfers, payments, withdrawals, buying ads and creator fund participation require you to be at least 18 and to meet the relevant verification and eligibility checks.
  • Catalogue gifting is available to eligible registered users aged 13 and over. Access to gifts or funding a gift does not give an under-18 user access to cash withdrawals or other adult-only financial features.

Features can vary by country, account type, age, device and availability. Do not give a false birthday or use someone else's identity to bypass restrictions.

03

Your account and connections

Provide accurate account details, keep your sign-in methods, wallet PIN and chat recovery key secure, and use only accounts you own or are authorised to manage. Tell us promptly if your account is compromised. Beexie support will not ask for your password, one-time sign-in code or recovery key.

Following someone and being their friend are different relationships. A follow does not make you friends. When someone accepts your friend request, you become friends and you, as the requester, join their free Circle. This does not purchase a subscription or automatically enrol them in your Circle. Audience controls still apply.

You are responsible for the activity you authorise, including actions by people you allow to manage your business or creator account. You can stop using Beexie and request account deletion at any time.

04

Your videos, sounds and other content

You keep the rights you own in the content you create. This includes videos, original sounds, photos, posts, livestreams, comments and your original contributions to BeeMe avatars or stickers. Using built-in artwork or another person's material does not transfer ownership of that material to you.

You give Beexie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, transcode, display and distribute your content as needed to operate and provide the service, including its sharing and recommendation features, consistently with your audience settings. We may use service providers to carry out these activities. This licence does not transfer your ownership or grant an unrelated commercial endorsement.

Where you enable sharing, downloads or reuse, other people may use those features within the permissions you give and the rights you hold. Deleting content ends this licence except for limited retention needed for backups, security, legal obligations, resolving disputes, or copies already lawfully shared by others. We cannot remove copies people have saved outside Beexie.

Only upload material you have the right to use, including music, performances, artwork, trademarks and someone else's image or voice. A sound being available on Beexie does not by itself clear it for an advertisement, sponsored video or other commercial use. See our Intellectual Property Policy.

05

Use Beexie responsibly

Follow our Community Guidelines wherever you participate, including profiles, messages, groups, channels, Circles, lives, ads and business listings.

Do not exploit children, threaten or harass people, promote hatred or violence, distribute non-consensual intimate material, deceive customers, infringe rights, trade prohibited goods, manipulate engagement, or evade enforcement. Do not compromise accounts, distribute malicious software, scrape private information, bypass access controls or disrupt Beexie's systems.

Gifts are voluntary appreciation. Never pressure someone to gift, promise a guaranteed return for gifting, or use gifts and live battles as a front for fraud, gambling or money laundering. Do not request passwords, wallet PINs or sensitive payment credentials in chats.

06

Businesses, creators and advertising

You may use Beexie to promote legitimate work and business. Sellers and service providers are responsible for their descriptions, prices, licences, taxes, fulfilment, bookings, customer service and applicable consumer rights. Unless expressly identified as the seller, Beexie provides the platform and is not the seller of another user's goods or services.

Clearly disclose paid partnerships, sponsorships and other material commercial relationships. Ads and promotions must be accurate, lawful and suitable for their intended audience. A verification badge is not a guarantee of quality, solvency or a transaction's outcome.

Creator earnings, subscriptions, paid lives and promotional programmes depend on their displayed terms and eligibility. We do not guarantee views, reach, sales, gifts, income or continued programme availability. Do not buy false engagement or conceal commercial activity.

07

Gifts, wallet and paid features

Beexie includes catalogue gifts, cash tips and eligible wallet and payment features, as well as paid experiences such as subscriptions or live access where offered. Check the recipient, amount, currency, fees and access conditions before confirming. Use an authorised payment method and the payment flow provided for the transaction.

Gifting may result in an eligible recipient receiving wallet value after applicable fees. The gift's purchase price is not a promise of the same cash-out amount. Payouts depend on verification, age, available balances, limits, processing times and any applicable deductions. Gifts do not give ownership of a creator's content, a business or Beexie, and are not an investment.

Any recurring charge, billing period and cancellation conditions must be shown in the purchase flow. Manage a subscription through the service where you purchased it; cancelling does not automatically refund a period already used. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain available.

For an unauthorised charge, failed delivery, duplicate payment or refund request, contact [email protected] with the transaction reference. Do not send a full card number, PIN or recovery key. We assess refunds and corrections under the purchase terms, payment-provider rules and applicable law; there is no blanket exclusion of your consumer rights.

We may hold, restrict or reverse transactions where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, errors, chargebacks or legal requirements. Fees and exchange rates can vary; rely on the amount displayed before confirmation. Where digital-asset funding is offered, check the supported asset, network, address and rate carefully: transfers can be irreversible and are not a promise of investment returns.

08

Messages, privacy and security

Beexie's encrypted direct-message features protect message content between participants. This does not make everything on Beexie end-to-end encrypted: public posts, channel content, live broadcasts and information you submit to support have different audiences and handling.

A recipient can save or share what you send. When you choose to report an encrypted message, your device can provide selected message evidence to Beexie for review. We also process delivery and account information needed to run messaging. See the Privacy Policy for details.

09

Moderation, restrictions and appeals

We may review reports and content, remove or limit content, reduce recommendation eligibility, restrict features or payments, or suspend or close an account for a breach, security risk or legal requirement. The response depends on the severity, context and history. Serious harm may require immediate action.

Where permitted and practicable, we explain the action and how to challenge it. Use the appeal option in your account status or contact [email protected] with the decision reference and why you believe it is wrong. Intellectual property complaints follow the IP appeal process.

10

Leaving Beexie and service changes

Use Settings to deactivate or delete your account, or follow the account deletion instructions. Export anything you want to keep and resolve outstanding balances or transactions first; contact support if you cannot access or withdraw a balance. Deletion does not cancel obligations already incurred or erase records we must lawfully retain.

We may change or discontinue features to improve the service or meet operational, safety or legal needs. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes affecting you where practicable, and respect applicable rights for paid services. We will notify you of significant changes to these terms and seek renewed agreement when required.

11

Responsibilities and consumer rights

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that all user content is accurate. Keep your own copies of important content. Other users and external websites are responsible for their own conduct and services.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by another user's unlawful conduct or by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuses our own legal duties, or removes your rights to remedies under applicable consumer protection law.

12

Law, disputes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. Contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve a concern. You retain the right to contact an appropriate regulator, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, or bring a claim before a court with jurisdiction.

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply to the extent permitted by law. Our not enforcing a provision immediately does not waive it. These terms do not create an employment, agency or partnership relationship with a user.
